Surgical Treatments

Wisdom Teeth

Impacted teeth are the most common occurrences in oral surgery. Frequently 20-year-old teeth and upper jaw canines may be embedded in the mouth.Wisdom teeth sometimes show no symptoms and cause no complaints. Sometimes, they can cause huge complaints. After its presence is detected, if it causes a complaint, the impacted teeth must be surgically removed.
Abscess and Cyst Operations
Abscesses and cystic lesions that occur for various reasons in the jawbone are treated by cutting and removing the infected root areas.

Sinus Lifting

The anatomical cavities in the upper jaws, just above the teeth, are called the maxillary sinuses. Maxillary sinuses continue to grow throughout life. The increase in the volume of the sinuses leads to a decrease in the bone volume in the upper jaws. These bone losses, which can be considered physiologically, can reach levels that do not allow implant applications. In this case, if implant treatment is to be applied, a special surgical intervention called Sinus Lifting should be applied to reduce the volume of the sinuses and increase the bone volume. After the bone formation is completed, routine implant applications are started.

Gingivectomy-Gingivoplasty

In gingivectomy, a part of the gum is removed to flatten gum pockets or fake pockets. The goal in gingivoplasty is to create a smooth transition of the gingival contour in the tooth to restore the natural, anatomical and correct shape of the gum.
